Volleyball Recap: Alta-Aurelia Comes Up Short

Alta-Aurelia had taken St. Mary down for five straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Alta-Aurelia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for St. Mary's, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Alta-Aurelia has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Akron-Westfield on the 27th. St. Mary's has also already played their next contest (against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
