Basketball Game Preview: Dallas Dragons vs. West Albany Bulldogs

Dallas hasn't had much luck against West Albany recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Dallas Dragons will head out to square off against the West Albany Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m.

Dallas heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodburn. The Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, West Albany was able to grind out a solid win over Central on Friday, taking the game 61-49. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Panthers are ranked 170th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Albany is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points over those games. Dallas' loss dropped their record down to 3-17.

Dallas was dealt a bruising 79-36 defeat at the hands of West Albany when the teams last played back in January. Can Dallas avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
