Baseball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pueblo West Cyclones, falling 9-1.

Liberty saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh ` Wouden, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Liberty's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Pueblo West, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

While Liberty had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
