Lowndes had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the Tift County Blue Devils. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Blue Devils two weeks ago, they had to take a 43-42 loss.

Kam Jackson had a dynamite game for Lowndes, putting up 20 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Ferguson, who posted eight points.

Lowndes' record now sits at 18-9. As for Tift County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season.
