Los Angeles CES is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They were beaten by Fairfax 74-41. While losing is never fun, the Unicorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while the Lions are ranked 279th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westchester). They blew past Hamilton 85-36 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Westchester is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Los Angeles CES, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
