Leonardtown is a perfect 10-0 against Calvert since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Raiders will be home for the holidays to greet the Cavaliers at 6:15 p.m. Calvert took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Leonardtown, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Leonardtown made easy work of Chopticon and carried off an 80-57 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.

Leonardtown can attribute much of their success to Amari Berry, who posted 25 points, and Cari Reeves, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 19 points. Braylon Gladden was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Calvert and Patuxent, and Patuxent kept the tradition alive. The Cavaliers came up short against the Panthers on Friday, falling 65-40.

Leonardtown will need to focus on slowing down Lyndon Johnson, one of several Calvert players who made an impact when they last played. He put up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mehki Gross, who earned nine points.

Leonardtown has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 75.5 points this season. As for Calvert, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Leonardtown against Calvert in their previous matchup back in February, as the squad secured an 87-33 win. In that game, the Raiders amassed a halftime lead of 57-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
