Volleyball Recap: Washington County Comes Up Short

Washington County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars.

Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Rocky Mount Prep, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

Coming up, Washington County will square off against North Edgecombe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Rocky Mount Prep will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' contest: after the Panthers face off against the Warriors, they'll take on Rocky Mount Prep again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
