The Sacopee Valley Hawks will square off against the Buckfield Bucks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Sacopee Valley has struggled recently with nine defeats in a row, while Buckfield will arrive with six straight victories.

She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Buckfield got a massive performance out of Amelia Hill, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Hill has hit this season. Brittany Carrier was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.
Buckfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Sacopee Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Buckfield, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Sacopee Valley has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463. However, it's not like Buckfield struggles in that department as they've averaged .485. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
