Softball Recap: Serrano Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Serrano can now relate to. They came up short against the Arroyo Knights on Thursday, falling 11-1. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Serrano saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Malone, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Serrano's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Arroyo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Serrano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arroyo, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-2 victory against Lancaster on the 16th.
