Conner Drake posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
