Softball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Rock Hill Blue Hawks, falling 19-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in February.

Bella Olalde made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Jadyn Walton was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for Rock Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Princeton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Plano on the 28th. As for Rock Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against Plano West on the 28th.
