Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After a string of four wins, Rock Hill's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Greenwood Eagles by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Rock Hill sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 15-8.

Hannah Anderson paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up seven kills. Anderson got some help from Ella Lesslie and her 13 assists. Mattie Kline controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Greenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-18 record this season.

Rock Hill has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Palmetto Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Greenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against York on the 4th.
