Baseball Game Preview: Paradise Honors Panthers vs. Crescent Valley Raiders

The Paradise Honors Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Crescent Valley Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Paradise Honors' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Crescent Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Paradise Honors picked up another tournament win on Wednesday. They skirted past Maine West 4-2.

Kade Ashton tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Paradise Honors saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaydan Herrera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Cook Cadyn also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Crescent Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Vista Ridge, falling 10-4.

Paradise Honors' victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Crescent Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
