Volleyball Recap: South Bend Washington Takes a Loss

South Bend Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Bend Riley Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-20.

South Bend Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for South Bend Riley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-15.

South Bend Washington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mishawaka on the 20th. As for South Bend Riley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Valparaiso on the 20th.
