Basketball Recap: Grandview Drops Season-High Score on Ruskin

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grandview). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Ruskin Golden Eagles 87-47. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Grandview is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Ruskin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Grandview and Ruskin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Grandview (ranked 96th) will meet Lee's Summit North (ranked 30th) on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ruskin will take on Raytown at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th down 228 places (265 vs. 37).
