It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Corona del Mar can now relate to. They came up short against the Mira Costa Mustangs on Friday, falling 3-0. The Sea Kings' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-20.

Corona del Mar's loss dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Mira Costa, they pushed their record up to 32-2 with the win, which was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season.

Corona del Mar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Mira Costa and Huntington Beach will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
