Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline scored first but ultimately less than Conway in their match on Monday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 5-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Skyline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Long, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Skyline dropped their record down to 13-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Conway, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Skyline will take on Ash Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Conway, they will challenge Sparta at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
