Archimedean has struggled against BridgePrep Village Green recently, as their match on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Archimedean lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joseph Vega. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. The game was Vega's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Buchillon, who scored eight points.
Archimedean struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Archimedean's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for BridgePrep Village Green, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Archimedean will be playing at home against Horeb Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Jonathan Gonzalez and Vega. As for BridgePrep Village Green, they will head out on the road to face off against Westland Hialeah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
