The Ponte Vedra Sharks are taking a road trip to challenge the Fleming Island Golden Eagles at 7:20 p.m. on Monday. Ponte Vedra is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

Ponte Vedra barely beat Nease the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Sharks' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 3-0 shutout last Thursday.

Ponte Vedra hit Nease with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Ostfeld, Nick Churchill, and Oliver Minch.

Meanwhile, Fleming Island came up short against Bartram Trail on Friday and fell 3-1.

Fleming Island now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Ponte Vedra, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Ponte Vedra beat Fleming Island 3-1 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
