Basketball Recap: Green Bay Southwest Takes a Loss

Green Bay Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Green Bay Preble Hornets 81-11. The Fighting Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Green Bay Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Green Bay Preble, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Bay Southwest will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sheboygan North at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Green Bay Preble and Oshkosh North will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Bay Preble has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
