Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pickens walked away with it. They blew past the Seneca Bobcats 3-0 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Flame sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Lily Clarkson paced Pickens' offense, picking up ten kills. Clarkson really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 20. Chesney Yates controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Pickens' win bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Seneca, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-11.
Pickens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Daniel on the 29th. Seneca does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
