Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Ridge vs. South Granville + How To Watch

The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the South Granville Vikings at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. South Granville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedar Ridge, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Cedar Ridge needed a bit of extra time to put away Durham School of the Arts. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Cedar Ridge were the better team in the second half.

Tyler Baker and Noah Koehler scored all three of Cedar Ridge's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, South Granville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to Seaforth.

The victory got Cedar Ridge back to even at 5-5-1. As for South Granville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

Cedar Ridge beat South Granville by a goal when the teams last played back in August of 2016, winning 2-1. Do the Fighting Red Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
