They lost 3-0 to the Junior Bills. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Evansville Memorial came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked third in Indiana, while St. Louis University are ranked 43rd in Missouri).

Meanwhile, Poplar Bluff was able to grind out a solid win over Sikeston on Thursday, taking the game 4-2. The victory continues a trend for Poplar Bluff in their matchups with Sikeston: they've now won five in a row.
