Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Kent-Meridian

Jefferson and Kent-Meridian are an even 4-4-1 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Raiders will head out to square off against the Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Jefferson came up short against White River on Monday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while White River are ranked 117th).

While Kent-Meridian's fans didn't get a definitive result on Wednesday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1. Kent-Meridian's draw makes their record 7-2-6 this season.
