Volleyball Recap: Otay Ranch Comes Up Short

Otay Ranch lost against Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Otay Ranch ultimately came up short, they really made Christian work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-22, 25-17.

Otay Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Otay Ranch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against La Habra on the 12th. As for Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Valhalla on the 9th.
