Soccer Recap: Abilene Takes a Loss

Abilene fell victim to Wylie and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wylie Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 129th).

Abilene's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Wylie, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Abilene does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wylie, they are taking a road trip to take on Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
