Basketball Recap: Union Grove Takes a Loss

Union Grove was the 61-55 winner over Wilmot when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Union Grove Broncos fell just short of the Wilmot Panthers by a score of 67-65 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (63), the Broncos still had to take the loss.

Union Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wilmot, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3.

Union Grove and Wilmot could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Union Grove (ranked 271st) will meet Racine Park (ranked 86th) at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Meanwhile, Wilmot will take on Racine Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th down 213 places (226 vs. 13).
