Basketball Recap: Midway Takes a Loss

Midway was the 48-45 winner over Copperas Cove when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Midway Panthers took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Copperas Cove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-14.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Harker Heights the next time they take the court. Copperas Cove will host Harker Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Midway will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
