Norcom is 1-9 against Norview since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Greyhounds will host the Pilots at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Norcom is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 26-5 margin over Booker T. Washington on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Greyhounds considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Norcom got a massive performance out of Da'Quell Barrett, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, five runs, and five RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeden Heart, who scored five runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Norcom always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .732. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Booker T. Washington only posted an OBP of .400.
Meanwhile, Norview was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over King's Fork.
Like Norcom, Norview also got a great game from a two-way player: Jonathan Moore. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Moore has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Malaki Littlejohn was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Manny Toledo, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Norcom's win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Norview, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
Norcom might still be hurting after the 22-2 defeat they got from Norview when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Greyhounds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
