Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Skates Past Randolph with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Bloomfield over Randolph in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bloomfield Bees blew the Randolph Cardinals out of the water with a 64-9 final score. That looming 64-9 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bees yet this season.

Bloomfield found their leader in freshman Madyson Mlady, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. Mlady is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Eisenhauer, who posted nine points.

Bloomfield is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points per game. As for Randolph, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will face off against Chambers/Wheeler Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Randolph, they will square off against Winnebago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
