Football Preview: Jasper Bulldogs vs. Carthage Bulldogs
The Jasper Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Carthage Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Jasper is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 43 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Beaumont United on Friday. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberwolves.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ja'Keman Harris, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. Jasper also got help from Raja Garza-Adams, who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.
