South Davidson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the North Stokes Vikings, posting a 43-13 win. Considering the Wildcats have won seven games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

South Davidson was led to victory by Gage Underwood and George Nilsen IV. Underwood rushed for 100 yards and one TD on only ten carries, while Nilsen IV rushed for 119 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. The dominant performance also gave Underwood a new career-high in passing yards (75). Myles Scercy also helped out as he racked up 118 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Davidson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 432 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 192 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Although North Stokes took the loss, they still got scores from Aiden Bennett and Jackson Bodenhamer.

South Davidson's record now sits at 8-0. As for North Stokes, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, South Davidson will head out on the road to face off against Chatham Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for North Stokes, they will face off against College Prep & Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will be up against the Royals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
