Basketball Game Preview: Malone Tigers vs. Liberty County Bulldogs

The Malone Tigers will host the Liberty County Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Malone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.8 points per game this season.

Jamerious Sims put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted eight points and 12 boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Everett Welch, who had four points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

Meanwhile, everything went Liberty County's way against Aucilla Christian on Tuesday as Liberty County made off with a 79-58 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Malone's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Liberty County, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.

Malone came up short against Liberty County in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 58-54. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Liberty County's Kashon Chambers, who put up 23 points and eight rebounds.
