Recap: Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers vs. Winnfield Tigers
After losing to The Winnfield Tigers the last time they met, the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Jonesboro-Hodge came out on top against Winnfield by a score of 30-20 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Jonesboro-Hodge.
Winnfield's loss came despite strong showings from Jaylon Jackson and Jake Jones. Jackson gained 169 total yards and a touchdown, while Jones rushed for 17 yards and two touchdowns.
Jonesboro-Hodge's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Winnfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Jonesboro-Hodge will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ferriday at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Ferriday is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Winnfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
