Wylie waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 73-67 W against the Sachse Mustangs. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 326th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points over those games. As for Sachse, their loss dropped their record down to 18-15.

Wylie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sachse, they will take on Rockwall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rockwall has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 170 points over their last three games.
