Baseball Game Preview: Everman Bulldogs vs. Mansfield Summit Jaguars

For the second straight game, Everman will face off against Mansfield Summit. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everman's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Mansfield Summit's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Everman barely beat Mansfield Summit the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 9-3 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

For Mansfield Summit's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clarence ?C3? Nevels III, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Everman's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-13. As for Mansfield Summit, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-24.
