Soccer Recap: Minnechaug Regional Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Minnechaug Regional was the 5-1 winner over Northampton when they last played one another back in October of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons came up short against the Blue Devils on Wednesday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Minnechaug Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Northampton are ranked 19th).

Minnechaug Regional now has a losing record of 2-3-3. As for Northampton, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Looking ahead, Minnechaug Regional will square off against West Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northampton, they will take on Longmeadow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
