Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Wayne South Side Archers vs. Carroll Chargers

After both having extra time off, the Fort Wayne South Side Archers and the Carroll Chargers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carroll took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Wayne South Side, who comes in off a win.

Fort Wayne South Side picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Shelbyville.

Meanwhile, Carroll faced Homestead in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Chargers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Fort Wayne South Side, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Fort Wayne South Side might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Carroll in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Archers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
