Softball Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Takes a Loss

North Raleigh Christian Academy managed to slip by Providence Day the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 15-1 to the Chargers on Friday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

North Raleigh Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Gardner, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Gardner has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

North Raleigh Christian Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8. As for Providence Day, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Raleigh Christian Academy will welcome Wake Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.38 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Providence Day, they will be playing at home against Cannon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
