Pharr-San Juan-Alamo lost to La Joya back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo was the clear victor by an 18-1 margin over La Joya. Considering the Bears have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. As for La Joya, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo is set to square off against their familiar foe Economedes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, La Joya will face off against rival Weslaco at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
