Soccer Recap: Excelsior Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Excelsior Classical Academy lost against Vance Charter on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Flying Lions came up short against the Knights, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Excelsior Classical Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 449th, while Vance Charter are ranked 165th).

Excelsior Classical Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Vance Charter, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

As of now, neither Excelsior Classical Academy nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
