Basketball Recap: St. John XXIII Lions vs. Houston HomeSchool Raiders
St. John XXIII was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 104-58 loss at the hands of the Houston HomeSchool Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-52 back in December of 2024.
St. John XXIII's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Houston HomeSchool, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John XXIII will venture away from home to take on FBCHA at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Houston HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to square off against Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Houston HomeSchool's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
