Everything went their way against the Mingus Marauders on Wednesday as the Coconino Panthers made off with an 8-0 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Coconino's offense was hitting Mingus from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Colin Pendergast led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
The win made it two in a row for Coconino and bumps their season record up to 10-2-1. As for Mingus, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
When Coconino and Mingus next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose.
