Basketball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

Dunbar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Lehigh Lightning, falling 89-63. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 98-52 last Wednesday.

Despite the loss, Dunbar still got an impressive performance from Brayant Corona, who went 10 for 22 en route to 27 points and eight rebounds. Corona's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kristian Joseph, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and three steals.

Dunbar's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Lehigh, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-2.

Dunbar has already played their next contest, a 61-39 victory against Clewiston on the 27th. As for Lehigh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 81-74 loss against Gateway Charter on the 25th.
