Gateway fell victim to Centaurus and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-0 loss at the hands of the Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Olympians in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Westin Rayburn threw for 59 yards on five of nine attempts. Lyric Wynn was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards. On the ground, Jake Brock rushed for 43 yards.

Gateway's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Centaurus, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Gateway didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 48-6 loss against Sand Creek on the 17th. As for Centaurus, they have also already played their next matchup, a 31-14 defeat against Grand Junction on the 17th.
