Recap: Heide Trask Titans vs. East Columbus Gators
The Heide Trask Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to East Columbus for the full four quarters, racking up a 90-58 win at home. The win was nothing new for Heide Trask as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heide Trask to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sherrod Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Henderson has scored all season. Myron Mckoy was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 assists.
When it comes to explaining why East Columbus lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaden Troy. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cainan Patrick, who scored 12 points.
Heide Trask is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for East Columbus, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Heide Trask will head out on the road to take on Pender at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pender is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for East Columbus, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in West Columbus' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
