It's playoff time, and Coachella Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 60-55 W over the Indio Rajahs on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Mighty Arabs, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Joe Beltran continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, to rack up 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Lopez, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Coachella Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.

Indio's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darren Thomas, who had 12 points. Alex Vargas was another key player, putting up ten points.

Coachella Valley pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Indio, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-17.

Coachella Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-65 loss against Arroyo on the 18th. Indio does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
