Portal and Metter are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2021, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Portal take on Metter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Portal barely beat McIntosh County Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Portal never let McIntosh County Academy get on the board and left with a 10-0 win last Thursday. The matchup marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Their offense was hitting McIntosh County Academy from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Bruno Navarro led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Metter put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Dodge County with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Tigers have won four games by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Metter pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those five contests. As for Portal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Portal came up short against Metter when the teams last played back in February, falling 2-0. Can Portal avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
