Recap: King Wolves vs. Poly Bears
The King Wolves were the 62-58 winner over the Poly Bears when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. King's rough 70-50 loss to Poly on Friday might stick with them for a while. King was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-22.
When it comes to explaining why King lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mathias Tinker. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The match was Tinker's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Davis, who scored eight points.
King now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Poly, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
King will be home for the holidays to greet Crenshaw at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Crenshaw's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups. Poly will take on Coeur d'Alene in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at. Coeur d'Alene is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
