Volleyball Recap: Choctawhatchee Indians vs. Crestview Bulldogs

Choctawhatchee posted their biggest victory since August 29th on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Crestview Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Choctawhatchee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isabel Gutierrez, who had seven digs and four aces. She wasn't the only good server: Choctawhatchee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestview only served six.

The victory made it two in a row for Choctawhatchee and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Crestview, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

Choctawhatchee will host West Florida at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestview, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Pace at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
